The Nursery and Garden Industry of SA is proud to announce the winner of the SALIFE Gardens and Outdoor Living People’s Choice Garden Centre of the Year Award is Barossa Nursery. Congratulations to Daniel Bartsch and his team who take the honour for the second year in a row. It is a testament to your professionalism and the quality garden centre that your family has developed.

Barossa Nursery will be formally celebrated as the winners when the industry comes together for the presentation of the NGISA Awards of Excellence at the Stamford Grand, Glenelg on Saturday 4 June, 2022. This year, we introduce a new award category which will acknowledge the best online store within our South Australian membership.

In other news online, NGISA has initiated a Facebook page specifically for jobs in the industry within South Australia. Titled “Adelaide Nursery and Garden Centre Jobs”, the page has been launched in collaboration with education providers. It has been created to enable employers to post jobs for people seeking positions of all types within the industry, including regional South Australia. The page hasn’t been operating for very long but is already gaining some good momentum and traction.
