Origin: A chance seedling selection by Peter Ollerenshaw of Bywong Nursery. Application received February 2020.

Characteristics: Correa ‘Green Dream’ is a low-growing shrub to approximately 1m x 1m. It has pale green, bell-shaped flowers that occur during autumn and winter.

Cultural Notes: A hardy ornamental shrub suitable for most soil types but best positioned in a sunny site although it will tolerate some shade. Correa ‘Green Dream’ is frost resistant to -6oC. Responds well to pruning.

Propagation: Cuttings.

Uses: Correa ‘Green Dream’ can be used in mass planting, part of a mixed shrubbery or as a feature plant. If you wish to attract nectar-feeding birds, you will not be disappointed with this plant.

Availability: Specialist native plant nurseries such as Bywong Nursery.
